10:01 pm: In which I listen to a demo I made with a band some years ago
I wanted to be Abaddon soooo badly, didn't I, especially the partial doubling of the guitar line? Or maybe that's just what you get when you have a drummer who has never been taught to drum ;)

Still, there are far worse things to be like, and I'm actually rather proud, looking back, of my non-conformity to what drums are supposed to do. And worse bands to copy than early Venom. At least it's different.

I have never heard you play the drums.

But you could... if you know the right people to talk to.

I may have been listening to the same demo very recently. Maybe one even earlier.

Drums are awesome. I always wanted to play, but they're kind of an inconvenient instrument: what with the relatively sound-proof or really out of the way space needed. Plus, getting a kit is not easy. I'm also rather uncoordinated, so investing that much money/time into something I'm only ever going to be mediocre at seemed rather pointless. Still, for a couple of years is was my pleasant pipedream!
